Who we are

A motorcycle rental agency based in Gueliz, run by people who ride the tracks they recommend.

Our story

Fifteen years of Moroccan tracks

Moto 2 Sahara Berbère has been renting motorcycles in Marrakech for more than fifteen years. The agency grew out of a simple observation: travellers arriving in Morocco could find a bike easily enough, but almost never someone able to tell them which road to take, where to sleep and, above all, where not to venture.

We are based in Gueliz, in the heart of Marrakech. Our workshop services every vehicle between rentals — not once a month, but between every rental. It is painstaking, and it is exactly what stops a bike from failing you two hundred kilometres from the nearest petrol station.

We are not a booking platform. When you write, we are the ones who reply; when you set off, we are the ones who prepared the machine.

Our commitments

What we will not compromise on

Four principles we apply to every rental, without exception.

Serviced between every rental

Tyres, brakes, chain, fluid levels, lights: every vehicle goes back through the workshop before heading out again. A breakdown in the middle of the Atlas cannot be fixed with a phone call.

Delivered to your hotel

We deliver free anywhere in Marrakech — Gueliz, Hivernage, the medina. You collect the bike where you sleep, not across town with your luggage.

Gear included

Approved helmets in the right sizes, plus accessories to suit the vehicle. Give us your measurements in your request and everything will be ready on arrival.

Ground advice, not brochure copy

We ride the routes we suggest ourselves. We will tell you frankly if an itinerary is beyond your level, or if the season is wrong for it.

Our terrain

The regions we ride

Three great playgrounds out of Marrakech, each with its own character and difficulty.

The High Atlas

Passes, hairpins and Berber villages less than an hour from Marrakech. The Tizi n'Tichka tops out at 2,260 metres: the finest warm-up there is.

The Sahara and the gorges

Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, the Draa palm groves, then the erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga. The big one — the reason people come to Morocco.

Marrakech and around

Ourika Valley, Setti Fatma waterfalls, the palm grove. Doable on a scooter or a motorcycle, ideal for a first day out.
